A famous renowned company, Finlays Kenya, has suspended its terms with two bosses after a documentary from the world-famous media company, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) went viral, exposing them to have been exploiting women sexually in the company. James Finlays Kenya, a firm that is located in Kericho, Kenya, and well recognized for its tremendous work of exporting tea from Kenya, has terminated contracts with two famous bosses who were caught taking advantage of females who were in search of employment to exploit them sexually. Ugandan President Backed To Run For Presidency For The 7th Time

The current serving President of the Republic of Uganda has been backed up to vie for the presidency coming up in 2026 for the 7th time by the National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who has been in power since January 1986, has gotten another chance to be the presidential flag bearer after speculations went around that his son, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, would follow in his footsteps when he retires in 2025. The ruling party, NRM led by Vice President Jessica Alupo, has come out clearly to endorse President Museveni barely three years before the presidential election, which is against the constitution. The constitution states that a presidential flagbearer should be mentioned at least three months before the election. Kenyatta National Hospital To Dispose Of Unclaimed Bodies

A national hospital in Kenya has notified citizens that it will get rid of more than 200 dead bodies that haven’t been claimed in a long period of time. The unclaimed bodies will be disposed of within a period of seven days. In a national newspaper on Tuesday, Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) claimed that they will dispose of 203 bodies that have been in the farewell home for a longer period if the families don’t claim the bodies of their loved ones. KNH, through the gazette, went ahead to note that they will seek permission from the court in order to proceed with the act, thus giving Kenyans only seven days to get to the mortuary to claim the bodies of their departed. According to an inner source, the highest number of unclaimed bodies are children, whose demises are caused by a high number of abortions, stillbirths, the abandonment of kids after birth by their parents, and even miscarriages. Two Children Die After Consuming Poisonous Dish

Two children were confirmed dead and 11 others were hospitalized in Kenya after eating a popular dish known as githeri. The food had been prepared by their grandmother. The family hails from the western part of Kenya, Kakamega County, Matete village. They faced this unexpected grief on a Sunday morning, a situation that has left many tongue-tied. Information from the family states that one of the children died on the spot, while the other was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. The other eleven children were saved after getting attended to and treated in a timely manner, but they are yet to be discharged. According to reports from family members, the children were invited by their grandmother for breakfast, where they all ate the githeri together with their grandmother, before preparing to go to church. Kenya To Help Turkey, Syria After Earthquake Tragedy

The government of Kenya, through Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua, has urged Kenyans to stretch their hands in any way possible to aid in the recovery of lives and the economy in Turkey and Syria after the earthquake tragedy. The cabinet secretary said that the Kenyan government will help Turkey with coffee, tea, groundnuts, and other fast-moving goods in order to help the affected people before they fully recover from the ordeal. Dr. Mutua spoke today after it was reported that over 4000 people were left homeless and without food or even clothing. The tragedy has left over 7,000 people confirmed dead, and the numbers are still counting, creating emotions from different world leaders, including Kenyan President William Ruto, who have sent their condolences to the two affected countries.   The President of the Republic of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, has come out criticizing and telling some Kenyan leaders, who have had their taxes waived, to pay taxes to help develop the country economically. Addressing the citizens along the city's streets, the president said Kenya is for everyone, and all its citizens are entitled to pay taxes. This comes after a scandal emerged that the former first and second presidents of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta, and Daniel Moi’s families, hadn’t been paying taxes. A 78-year-old Kenyan man’s genitals were bitten by his daughter-in-law after he tried to settle a dispute between his daughter-in-law and a friend. Vincent Barasa, hailing from Kenya's Bungoma County, Bumula constituency, was having his evening meal at around 4 p.m. when he was informed by one of his grandchildren that there was a commotion in his son’s house. Mr. Barasa went to his son’s house, only to find out it was his daughter-in-law, Evelyn Okello, who was having a heated dispute with a female friend from a nearby market, who came to their house in Kimaeti Sub-county.
